At AutoHounds.com, our primary business is making consignment automobile purchases. Every week there are 3,000 to 5,000 cars changing hands at wholesale auctions in the southeastern United States. (These auction are open to licensed dealers only) It is far less expensive to advertise for a committed buyer and then find the car he or she wants than it is to buy a car and hope to connect with a committed buyer with advertising.

We don’t want to be bidding at auction on a vehicle unless it matches the exact specifications a customer has stated they desire in a vehicle. By bidding in this fashion, we won’t be tying up our capital in vehicles that sit on a lot waiting to find a buyer. Our consignment buying plans save you money because our business practices reduce our operational overhead.

We do maintain a modest vehicle inventory for several reasons. It gives us specific vehicles to advertise on the internet to attract active buyers to our web site.

Make and model information for vehicles built between 1998 and 2004 have been preloaded for your convenience. If your vehicle was built before 1998, you will have to manually enter all information, (include features, condition and mileage).
